Henwick Halt Medical Centre, 6pm-8pm
- Supervise and support cleaning operatives to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Allocate daily duties and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality targets are met
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas and address any issues or areas requiring improvement
- Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and completed within agreed timeframes
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing team members in cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and consumables, reporting shortages and arranging replenishment as required
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely, maintained correctly, and stored appropriately
- Follow and promote health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damages identified during cleaning activities
- Liaise with management and site representatives to ensure service expectations are consistently met
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential, with supervisory experience desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Ability to work independently and make decisions when required
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
