We have a new opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at Boston West Care Home
Boston West Care is a 45 bedded general nursing and residential home we specialise in dementia and frail elderly care. We are based outside Boston in Wyberton PE21 7JU.
The Hours of work will be between 09.00-15.00, Monday – Friday.
Additional hours may be dependent on the needs of the service.

Key Responsibilities
As a Home Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the administration of the home runs smoothly and effectively; assisting the Care Home Manager in all aspects of the home's administration.
To receive all residents/visitors to the home in a pleasant efficient manner. Ensuring that the Visitors Book is completed and the appropriate person is notified of their arrival.
An ability to understand and use a variety of computer based systems (Word/Excel), with a working knowledge of accounting procedures preferred but training will be given.
To answer the telephone promptly and deal with queries or bed enquires in a helpful, courteous and welcoming manner, being aware of the need to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding staff and residents
Liaise and build relationships with relatives, residents, professional service providers and other visitors.
To ensure all correspondence received is date stamped and receives prompt attention.
To ensure that the homes filing system is maintained accurately and promptly.
To provide administrative and clerical support and other support as may be requested from time to time by various members of the care team. Liaising with nurse on duty to book GP visits
Take an active role in marketing the Care Home, providing initial information and best advice to enquire.
HR
Maintain training records for both mandatory and regulatory requirements.
To accurately record and up-date information on personnel record files.
Recruitment
To assist the Manager with the recruitment of staff ensuring that the process is followed accurately and takes into account relevant legislative requirements with regard to discrimination.
Ensure that all pre-employment checks are undertaken and that all prospective employees are fit to work in accordance with CQC regulations and Company policy.
Skills & Experience
Experience of working in a nursing and residential care environment in an administrative capacity would be an advantage
Salary
14 per hour
Pay: £14.00 per hour
