We are looking for a friendly and reliable Coffee Shop Assistant to join The GateWay Coffee Shop team. You’ll help provide great customer service, prepare drinks and food, and keep the café clean, welcoming and well‑run.
Main duties include:
- Preparation of food
- Serving customers and preparing hot drinks using a commercial machine
- Using the till accurately
- Keeping the café clean and well‑stocked
- A commitment to the ethos of YCC, as expressed in our 365 on our website.
We’re looking for someone positive, flexible and great with people with hospitality experience. You will be involved in our launch of opening Saturdays, which is a really exciting part of the role!
Hours: 15.5 hours
Wednesday 11am - 3pm (4 hours), Saturday 9am - 5pm (7.5 hours), Sunday 9am - 1pm (4 hours), ad hoc events
Pay: Real living wage
