Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Groundworker. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through a variety of horticultural and construction tasks inclusing mast erection. The position involves working with a range of tools and machinery, ensuring the upkeep of outdoor spaces in accordance with client specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems.
- Assist with construction projects related to landscaping, such as installing features or constructing garden structures.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Support gardening and horticultural tasks by planting, mulching, watering, and pest control.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Identify potential issues with irrigation systems or mechanical equipment and address them promptly.

Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and repair of power tools, excavators, or irrigation systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools for construction or gardening purposes.
- Experience working within construction or horticultural environments will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor settings under varying weather conditions.
