HR Systems & MI Coordinator

The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Systems & MI Coordinator to join the People & Culture team in Manchester on a 6-month fixed-term contract, paying £40,000 per annum.
This is a key role responsible for the effective use and development of HR systems, reporting and people data. You will work closely with People & Culture and IT colleagues to improve workflows, data quality, automation and system adoption.
You will play a key role in producing KPI reporting, developing dashboards, improving HR processes and ensuring reliable people data is available for operational and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead coordinator for the HRIT system and associated systems.
- Manage day-to-day system administration, maintenance and housekeeping.
- Lead on HR data and reporting, producing KPI information and bespoke reports.
- Develop and improve Power BI dashboards, reporting solutions, workflows and automation.
- Lead HRIT system audits and identify opportunities for improved system use and best practice.
- Produce process documentation and support colleagues with system and reporting training.
- Deliver audit recommendations within agreed timescales.
- Ensure HR systems and processes comply with UK legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coach HR colleagues in KPI production and reporting processes.
- Develop process flows supporting legal and operational requirements.
- Act as the SME for HR systems and reporting, responding to queries from managers and colleagues.
- Provide accurate data for statutory reporting, including ONS surveys.
- Support the development and enhancement of HR operational processes and controls.
- Provide ad hoc project support to Transactional HR Services and the wider People & Culture team.
About You
The successful candidate will have strong HR systems, reporting and MI experience, alongside a good understanding of HR processes.
You should have:
- Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and HR processes.
- CIPP Level 5 qualified or close to completion.
- Experience developing systems, workflows and providing training.
- Experience producing bespoke reports from HRIT systems.
- Experience with dashboards and Business Objects, or willingness to develop these skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including KPI calculations.
- Excellent Excel skills, including VLOOKUP.
- Experience using HR/payroll software, ideally IRIS Cascade.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A willingness to undertake further training and development in HRIT systems and reporting.
