We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Venue Manager to join Royal Casino Slots at our Northampton venue.
Royal Casino Slots is part of a long-established and successful business, operating modern gaming venues equipped with some of the latest gaming and amusement machines on the market. We continue to invest in new technology, products and customer experiences, while maintaining exceptionally high standards of service, presentation and cleanliness.
As Venue Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of the venue, leading your team to deliver an outstanding experience for every customer.
This is a fast-paced, 7-day-a-week operation, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to the needs of the business are essential.
The Role
As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and successful operation of the venue. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking full ownership of the venue's performance, standards and results
- Maximising revenue, profitability and opportunities for business growth
- Leading, motivating and developing your team to achieve high standards
- Delivering exceptional customer service and encouraging repeat business
- Driving promotions, new products and customer offers
- Ensuring the venue is consistently clean, welcoming and professionally presented
- Managing staffing effectively and delegating responsibilities where appropriate
- Monitoring performance and taking action to improve results
- Ensuring company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed
- Maintaining a strong understanding of relevant gambling legislation, licensing requirements and responsible gambling procedures
- Creating a positive, professional and customer-focused working environment
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident and hands-on manager who enjoys taking ownership of a business and leading from the front.
Previous management experience within a customer-facing environment is essential. Experience within gaming, gambling, leisure, hospitality or retail would be advantageous, although we are equally interested in strong managers from other fast-paced customer-focused businesses.
