Role Purpose and Scope
The SMT Operative is responsible for supporting PCB assembly production by operating SMT equipment, preparing and loading materials, building PCB assemblies to IPC-610 quality standards, and following established manufacturing processes. Monitor production, operate solder paste printing and inspection systems, and communicate build or process issues to Production Engineers to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing within the Production department.
Core Functional duties and responsibilities
- You will work in area as deemed necessary by Production
- Work in accordance with SMT process
- Build PCBa in accordance with IPC-610 criteria
- MYdata operation and step preparation
- Operate solder paste print technologies
- Relay build issues and process related concerns to the production engineers.
Experience
- Must have previous Machine Operating experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident manner
- Ability to work under pressure and complete varied duties to meet deadlines
Hours - Rotating Shifts (Shift premium paid weekly £61.15)
Week 1 - Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm. Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10:45pm, Friday 2pm - 7pm
