Overview
We are seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to transport, lift, and move materials on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate telehandlers to lift and move materials as required on site.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials from lorries and other vehicles.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material handling tasks effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with other machinery operations, including excavators, as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in operating telehandlers or similar machinery is essential.
- A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transporting equipment as required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
- Experience operating excavators is advantageous but not mandatory.
