Salary: £40,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Benefits
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join a growing and well-established electrical wholesaler in Doncaster. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with experience in the electrical wholesale industry who is passionate about developing business, managing customer relationships, and driving branch growth.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing existing accounts, and working closely with the branch team to maximise sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch growth targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the electrical contracting, industrial, commercial, and construction sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise account potential.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and identify opportunities.
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and product availability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Deliver against sales, margin, and profitability targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities using CRM systems.
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within the electrical wholesale industry is essential.
- Proven track record in business development and account management.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products and the electrical supply market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
