We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice to join our busy community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in healthcare, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.
What the role involves
- Supporting the pharmacy team with day-to-day tasks
- Serving customers and offering friendly, professional assistance
- Handling prescriptions and helping to prepare medication under supervision
- Responding to queries in person and over the phone
- Managing stock, merchandising shelves and keeping the pharmacy well-presented
- Learning about medicines, pharmacy practice and patient care
What we’re looking for
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- A team player who enjoys helping people
- Reliable, organised and able to follow procedures carefully
- GCSEs in English and Maths preferred (or willingness to work towards them)
