Duties
- Supervise students across various classrooms, maintaining discipline and promoting respectful behavior
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons or activities provided by teachers, ensuring continuity of learning
- Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all students
- Support students with special educational needs, including those with disabilities or autism, fostering their participation and confidence
- Assist with behavioral management strategies and de-escalate conflicts using positive communication techniques
- Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor student progress and provide feedback on classroom dynamics
- Encourage creative writing and mentoring opportunities to motivate students and enhance their academic growth
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or in educational settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience supporting individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring roles that demonstrate patience and adaptability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks confidently while maintaining a lively and motivating presence
