About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and motivated Office Administrator with an IT or Computer Science background to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support while also assisting with IT-related activities, training programmes, client communications and business development.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong administrative skills combined with a genuine interest in IT, technology, software, digital systems and professional IT training.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Administration
· Manage day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth business operations.
· Maintain company records, documents, databases and administrative systems.
· Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations and other business documentation.
· Organise meetings, appointments and internal/external communications.
· Manage emails, telephone enquiries and correspondence professionally.
· Maintain accurate records of clients, students, trainers, suppliers and business partners.
· Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, timesheets and other administrative processes.
· Support the management team with general administrative duties.
IT & Technical Support
· Provide basic IT and technical support to staff and users.
· Assist with computers, laptops, printers, Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
· Help maintain user accounts, software and digital records.
· Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and connectivity issues.
· Support online meeting platforms and virtual training systems.
· Assist with maintaining IT equipment and training-room technology.
· Keep up to date with emerging technologies and developments within the IT industry.
Training & Education Support
· Assist with the administration of IT training programmes and courses.
· Coordinate student enrolments, attendance records and course documentation.
· Communicate with trainers and students regarding training schedules and requirements.
· Assist with examination and certification administration.
· Upload and maintain training materials and resources on company systems.
· Support the organisation of training events, workshops and assessment sessions.
Business Development Support
· Assist the management team with developing new business opportunities.
· Research potential clients, partners and training opportunities.
· Assist with preparing proposals, tenders, RFP responses and presentations.
· Maintain CRM and business-development records.
· Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, training providers and business partners.
· Support the preparation of company profiles, capability statements and marketing materials.
Essential Requirements
· Previous experience in office administration, business administration or a similar role.
· IT, Computer Science or technology-related educational background.
· Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Good organisational and time-management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Professional telephone and email communication skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Strong willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
Desirable Skills
· IT-related qualification or certification such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, Azure or similar.
· Experience within an IT training, education or technology environment.
· Knowledge of IT certification programmes.
· Experience using CRM, learning management or student-management systems.
· Experience supporting online training or virtual learning platforms.
· Knowledge of basic networking, cloud computing or cybersecurity.
· Experience supporting business proposals, tenders or RFPs.
· Previous experience working with clients or business partners.
