Part-Time Retail & E-Commerce Assistant
Yorkshire Jewellery Company – Saltburn-by-the-Sea
We're looking for someone to join our growing team at Yorkshire Jewellery Company.
This is a varied role that combines luxury retail, customer service and e-commerce. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a great eye for detail and is happy to get involved wherever needed.
Working Hours
This is a part-time position, typically working:
- Wednesday
- Thursday
- Friday
- Saturdays on a rota basis (not every Saturday, but flexibility to work regular Saturdays is essential)
Additional hours may be available during busy periods, holidays and seasonal events.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service in store.
- Assisting customers with jewellery, watches and gifts.
- Processing online orders.
- Updating products on our Shopify website.
- Creating and uploading product listings.
- Photography and basic image preparation.
- Supporting our social media and email marketing.
- Stock management and merchandising.
- General administration and helping keep the store running smoothly.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Is organised and able to manage a varied workload.
- Is confident using computers and willing to learn new systems.
- Has an interest in jewellery, luxury retail or watches (preferred but not essential).
- Takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a small team.
- Is reliable, professional and happy to use their own initiative.
Experience with Shopify, Canva, photography or social media would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
