Overview
We are seeking a reliable Food Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and courteously to customers, ensuring a high standard of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with driving experience who enjoy working independently and engaging with customers.
Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver food orders to customers within designated areas
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders, maintaining customer satisfaction
- Handle food with care to prevent damage or spillage during transit
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle at all times
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety during deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made and report any issues or incidents promptly
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations is beneficial
