About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Service Co-ordinator to join our Falkirk branch.
This is a fast-paced, operational role where you will coordinate engineers, manage work schedules, and ensure customer requirements are met through effective planning, communication, and attention to detail. You’ll be central to ensuring both reactive and planned works are delivered smoothly while supporting overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Coordination
- Schedule and manage reactive and planned (PPM) work orders
- Ensure engineer schedules are efficient, achievable, and up to date
- Allocate work based on skills, location, and customer needs
- Monitor work progress and escalate any risks to service delivery
Customer Communication
- Act as a key contact for customers, providing timely updates
- Manage expectations around attendance, delays, and completion
- Support strong and positive customer relationships
Engineer Support
- Maintain regular communication with engineers regarding jobs and changes
- Support effective collaboration between engineers and office teams
Operational & Administrative Support
- Ensure work orders meet company processes, SLAs, and contractual requirements
- Maintain accurate records and system updates
- Support RAMS and site documentation processes
- Contribute to achieving KPIs such as response times and service levels
Stock & Parts Coordination
- Work with engineers to order parts and stock aligned to scheduled work
Out of Hours
- Participate in an on-call escalation rota (paid separately)
About You
Essential:
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and confident communicator
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable:
- Experience in scheduling, planning, or coordination roles
- Experience supporting field-based engineers or technicians
- Understanding of service delivery and commercial priorities
