Ekpen Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver & Cleaning Support Assistant to support our daily cleaning operations.
This role involves driving our company van to various residential and commercial properties, assisting the cleaning team on-site, and ensuring equipment and staff are transported safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone dependable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced domestic cleaning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company van to assigned properties
- Transport cleaning staff and equipment between locations
- Assist with loading and unloading cleaning materials
- Support cleaners with basic cleaning duties when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of company vehicle
- Conduct basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, cleanliness)
- Ensure timely arrival at all scheduled jobs
- Communicate professionally with clients when needed
- Follow all health & safety and traffic regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK Driving Licence (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Confident driving a medium-sized van
- Good knowledge of local routes (Taunton & surrounding areas)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit (role involves lifting equipment)
- Basic DBS check preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
Previous experience in cleaning or domestic services is desirable but not essential.
