Do you enjoy spending time and making a difference in the day to day lives of elderly people? At Rustington Hall Nursing and Care Home we are looking to recruit someone with exceptional people skills who enjoys undertaking activities and entertainment both in groups and 121.
The successful candidate will have had some previous experience of working in a nursing and care home. You will be able to show compassion and empathy with a person centred approach to everything you do.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Ensuring activities meet residents’ intellectual, physical, social, and recreational needs.
· Assist residents in participating in activities of their choice
· Ensure accurate records are maintained for residents attending the lounge – for example hydration and nutrition records
· Assist and engage residents at meal times
Hours: 20 hours per week over four/five days - Alternative weekend.
