Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians in installing and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools to carry out electrical tasks accurately and safely.
- Support the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications to aid in installation processes.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Report any faults or issues encountered during work to senior team members promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols during daily activities to minimise risks.
Requirements
- Practical experience with electrical work or relevant training is essential.
- IPAF
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc. and power tools like drills and saws.
- Demonstrable electrical experience with a good understanding of wiring systems and components.
- Ability to read technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
