Simpsons Skoda is a family-owned, award-winning retailer with over 75 years of delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Group Parts Supervisor to join our Aftersales team.
Based at our Walton Summit site, you'll support the operation of our Parts Departments across the Group. The role requires flexibility to travel between our Preston, Colne and Bamber Bridge locations to provide support, cover and ensure consistency across all sites.

About the Role
As Group Parts Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of our Parts Departments across three dealership sites, supervising a team of three Parts Advisors to ensure the department operates efficiently while delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
You will play a key role in maintaining manufacturer standards, achieving stock and performance targets, supporting manufacturer audits, and developing the Parts team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of three Parts Advisors across the Group.
- Ensure the smooth day to day operation of the Parts Departments.
- Travel between Walton Summit, Preston, Colne and Bamber Bridge as required to provide operational support and holiday/day off cover.
- Maintain stock levels in line with manufacturer targets and business requirements.
- Maximise manufacturer incentive opportunities and departmental profitability.
- Ensure all Parts Departments remain fully compliant with Skoda (And Seat/Cupra) brand standards.
- Coordinate and support quarterly manufacturer audits.
- Work closely with the Service and Sales departments to ensure technicians and customers receive parts promptly.
- Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coach, train and develop the Parts team.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, customers and manufacturer representatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within an automotive Parts Department.
- Supervisory or leadership experience (or someone ready to step into their first supervisory role).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience.
- The ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
- A flexible approach to working across multiple dealership sites.
- Good IT skills and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
