Job Summary – Activities Coordinator (Supported Living Scheme)
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and creative Activities Coordinator to join our supported living service for adults with mental health conditions. This role is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of meaningful activities that promote independence, wellbeing, social inclusion and confidence.
Working closely with the management team, support staff, external agencies, and the people we support, the Activities Coordinator will develop person-centred activity programmes that reflect individual interests, goals, and abilities while encouraging community participation and reducing social isolation.
This is a hybrid role that combines activity coordination with direct support work. When required to meet the needs of the service, the successful candidate will undertake Support Worker duties within the supported living scheme. This includes providing person-centred support, promoting independence, assisting with daily living tasks, supporting individuals to achieve their personal outcomes, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people we support.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, and organised, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for improving the quality of life of adults living with mental health conditions. They will be able to build positive relationships, work independently and as part of a team, and adapt to the changing needs of the service while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering engaging activities while also providing hands-on support to help individuals live fulfilling, independent lives.
