Overview
We're looking for a Registered Manager to take the reins of our domiciliary care service, someone who genuinely cares about the people we support and knows how to run a tight, compliant, well-led service. We're 2Carers Ltd, a CQC-registered provider delivering personal care across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Wolverhampton. We're not a huge faceless company; we're a close team that takes pride in doing things properly. What sets us apart is that the systems are already built,
we run Birdie for care management and Atlas for records, so you won't spend your first six months untangling chaos. You'll be able to walk in and lead from day one. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Stafford, with the flexibility to work from home as long as the job gets done.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service, keeping standards of care high.
- Ensure the service remains fully compliant with CQC regulations and ready for inspection at all times.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management of the care team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families and external agencies.
- Develop, review and audit person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
- Manage rostering, record keeping and reporting using Birdie and Atlas. * Handle safeguarding concerns, complaints and incidents professionally and in line with policy.
- Drive continuous improvement through coaching, development and quality assurance.
- Support the ongoing growth of the service.
Qualifications
- CQC Registered Manager status for the regulated activity of personal care.
- At least 2 years' experience of CQC registration and inspection.
- Proven ability to lead a care team and maintain high quality standards.
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism (preferred, not essential).
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care standards.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
- Calm under pressure, with genuine attention to detail and a compassionate approach.
This role suits a proactive leader who wants real autonomy, the backing of a director who supports rather than micromanages, and the room to grow as the service grows. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate. If that sounds like you, we'd genuinely like to talk.
