We’re looking for a confident, reliable and motivated Supervisor to join the team at Wonderlust Bistro on a full-time basis.
This role would suit someone with previous hospitality experience who is comfortable leading a team, maintaining high standards and helping ensure the restaurant runs smoothly day to day.
Hours: Full-time, working approximately 5–6 days per week
Pay: Salary based on National Minimum Wage, with the opportunity for performance-based bonuses and pay increases as you progress within the role.
The Role:
As Supervisor, you will work closely with management and take responsibility for the smooth running of shifts. You’ll be expected to lead by example, support the team and make sure customers receive a consistently high standard of service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and leading the front of house team during shifts
Opening and closing the restaurant when required
Delegating tasks and ensuring they are completed correctly
Maintaining high standards of customer service
Handling customer queries and resolving complaints professionally
Supporting and training new and existing members of staff
Making sure staff remain productive and organised throughout their shifts
Monitoring cleanliness and presentation across the restaurant
Ensuring opening, closing and cleaning procedures are completed
Handling payments, cashing up and completing end of day procedures
Helping manage busy periods and keeping service running efficiently
Communicating effectively with the kitchen and management
Supporting management with the general day to day running of the business
Ensuring company procedures and standards are followed at all times
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced within hospitality, ideally in a supervisory or management position
Confident leading and managing a team
Reliable, punctual and organised
Friendly and professional with customers
Able to remain calm and make decisions during busy periods
Comfortable taking responsibility and using initiative
Able to motivate staff and maintain high standards
Flexible and available to work 5–6 days per week, including weekends where required
Someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience and the overall running of the restaurant
Progression & Pay:
We want someone who can grow with the business. The starting salary will be based on National Minimum Wage, with opportunities for performance based bonuses and pay increases for someone who performs well, takes responsibility and demonstrates strong leadership.
