PURPOSE OF JOB:
Safe and professional delivery of steel tubes & products to customers across the UK & Ireland to provide the highest levels of customer service and professional front line representation of NTS to our customers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Health & Safety
· Compliance with road transport regulations and procedures
· Ensure products on trailers are secured and delivered safely
· Follow Health & Safety site rules at NTS and when delivering to the customer
· General Housekeeping and upkeep of truck
· Working within a commercial warehouse environment
Customer Service
· Accurate and timely delivery of goods to our customers
· Following company procedures
· Communicate and resolve any delivery issues
REQUIREMENTS:
· HGV Class 1 Driving License
· Certified training and competency including current CPC
· Good working knowledge of UK road network
· Effective on time delivery service
· Reliability, professionalism and good communication skills
· Basic slinging & overhead crane operation an advantage
· Experience of handling steel products an advantage
Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday with some nights away and occasional weekend work.
