*Job Overview*
We are seeking a cleaner to join our team at our multi-venue establishment right in the heart of Belfast . The Watson Building includes The Library Cafe & Cocktail Bar, the Watson Draught House and Frames Pool Hall.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Daily Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum all designated floors and carpeted areas.
- Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, etc.).
- Waste Management: Empty all rubbish bins and recycling receptacles, and ensure they are disposed of properly.
- Supplies: Monitor, order, and restock cleaning supplies and restroom consumables (soap, paper towels).
- Deep Cleaning: Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks and handle special projects as requested.
- Equipment Care: Safely operate, clean, and maintain cleaning machinery (vacuums, polishers) and report any faults to management.
- Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper use of COSHH / cleaning chemicals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a Cleaner or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, hazardous materials, and safety standards.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
