Project Quantity Surveyor

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK construction and property services business delivering high-profile projects across the Midlands.
This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional who enjoys working collaboratively within project teams and contributing to the successful delivery of complex construction schemes across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and residential.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Preparation, management, and reporting of project budgets and forecasts
- Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including contract negotiation
- Administration of subcontractor payments, valuations, and variations
- Management of cost value reconciliation (CVR) and commercial reporting
- Identification and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks
- Supporting project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, and supply chain partners
About You
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. NEC, JCT)
- Excellent commercial awareness and cost control skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Proactive, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
