Excel Transport Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated self employed Multi Drop Van Driver (approx 50 drops per day plus collections) to transport large goods to clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years multi drop experience driving vehicles with a capacity of at least 3.5 tonnes and will have the ability to transport all types of goods. He or she should be familiar with various forms of navigation, driver safety, and knowing how to best handle any emergencies during transport.
Responsibilities:
- Checking load, securing load, and ensuring proof of delivery (POD)
- Keeping to ETA’s
- Maintaining vehicle
- Must be punctual, reliable, honest, mature and have a smart appearance
- Be able to lift heavy boxes and furniture
- Deal with traffic congestion
- Be aware of weather conditions

Pay: £140.00 per day
