Bookkeeper - Hereford
An established accountancy practice in Hereford is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.
The role will involve working with a varied portfolio of clients, providing a high-quality bookkeeping service and supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting needs.
The Role
Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
Processing sales and purchase invoices
Bank reconciliations and VAT returns
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with management accounts where required
Liaising directly with clients and providing day-to-day support
Working with accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
About You
Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and VAT
Confident using accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
Strong communication and client-facing skills
AAT qualified or equivalent would be advantageous
