Class 2 Driver –Ad hoc
Location: Warwick
Start Time: Between 05:00 - 08:30
Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: £18.49 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team in Warwick.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.
Nights out are required for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety
- Arrive on time and communicate any delays to the traffic office
- Follow company procedures, customer requirements, and the Highway Code
- Maintain high health and safety standards at all times
- Complete all deliveries and collections as per the manifest
- Adhere to EU tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
- Keep your vehicle clean and presentable
Requirements:
Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence
Up-to-date Driver CPC (DQC) Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good communication and time management skills
Previous experience in general haulage or palletised deliveries preferred
