Catering Assistant - Aberdeen Sports Village

Main purpose of the job:
The main purpose of the Catering Assistant is to assist in providing quality food and service for the cafes at Aberdeen Sports Village (ASV). The main goal of the Catering Assistant is to ensure customer satisfaction and comply with health and safety standards.
The ideal Catering Assistant will: ·
- Have experience in a similar role
- Be confident and professional at all times
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a positive and friendly way
Your duties will include but are not limited to: ·
- Open and close the cafe's
- Uphold high standards of food safety, food hygiene and personal hygiene
- Provide high levels of customer care and ensure the cafe experience is an enjoyable experience for our customers
- Prepare food according to food and hygiene regulations
- Ensure that the stock and ordering system is adhered to
- Upsell cafe drink and food products to increase sales
- Front and back of house cleaning
- Ensure deliveries are received in accordance to guidelines
