We are are seeking skilled, compassionate and motivated Mental Health Urgent Care Practitioners to join our teams in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex.
As a Bank Urgent Care Nurse in The Haven, your priority will be to ensure the safety of service users in crisis. You will complete the assessment of the individual’s needs and risks, accurately recording and communicating this information.
We work closely with our inpatient and community mental health teams across the Trust and have developed excellent working relationships with the emergency services who refer people to us and we are continuing to develop bespoke crisis plans.
We are a large NHS Mental Health Trust in South East England. We are looking for people to support use to provide high quality services for the patients, carers and family for the local communities we serve.
Duties may vary depends on service and may include:
Undertaking comprehensive mental health and psychosocial assessments.
Completing risk assessments and developing safe care plans.Supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises
.Providing expert mental health advice to patients, carers and partner organisations.
Working collaboratively across health, social care and community services.
Facilitating admission avoidance and supporting timely discharge planning where appropriate.
Promoting recovery-focused, person-centred care
