Looking for a marine engineer who can work within a small friendly team is happy to communicate with customers in a holiday atmosphere . Must be confident maintaining and repairing marine engines
Can work with the team to maintain and prepare the hire boats prior to being taken for holidays , travel to breakdowns solving the problem and reassuring customers . Be available to help visiting and local boaters with mechanical problems ,repair and advice .
Being a capable all rounder would be a definite advantage and rewarded depending on skills ..
Being able to handle a narrow boat and teach novices to do same is also useful asset.
Important is ability to work in and with others , use initiative , make plans to improve the boats under their care , and keep boats in tip top condition..
