Food & Beverage Team Leader

Argyll Holidays are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our hospitality environment at Drimsynie Holiday Village, one of Scotland's leading holiday parks.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and service standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Live in accommodation can be provided for the right candidate as a subsidised cost.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Manage daily operations within the kitchen and service areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with food production tasks, including preparing ingredients and assembling dishes as needed.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Delegate tasks and monitor performance to optimise team productivity.
- Maintain stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Coach and develop team members to maximise their potential
Skills
- Demonstrable supervising experience with strong team management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety protocols
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional leadership qualities combined with hospitality expertise.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests alike.
- Experience in serving, barista duties, or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to motivate teams towards achieving high standards of service excellence. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to maintaining the highest standards of culinary quality and guest satisfaction while leading a motivated team in a fast-paced environment.
