English & Science Tutors / UK-Qualified Teachers & UK Examination Board Examiners Wanted
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and knowledgeable tutors, UK-qualified teachers and experienced UK examination board examiners to join our growing tuition team.
We are currently recruiting for:
- English Tutors – able to teach KS3 and GCSE English
- Science Tutors – able to teach KS3 and GCSE Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
- A-Level Paper Markers (All subjects) – UK-qualified teachers and/or current or former examiners for a UK examination board who can accurately mark A-level work using relevant mark schemes and provide clear, constructive feedback
About the Tutoring Role
Our tutors support students with their learning, help build confidence and provide high-quality academic guidance.
Tutoring may include one-to-one lessons and/or small-group teaching, depending on experience and availability.
We are particularly interested in tutors who:
- Have strong subject knowledge in English and/or Science
- Have experience teaching or tutoring children and young people
- Are confident teaching KS3 and GCSE students
- Have a good understanding of the UK curriculum and exam requirements
- Can explain concepts clearly and adapt their teaching to suit individual learners
- Are professional, dependable, patient and encouraging
- Can provide useful feedback to help students improve
About the A-Level Paper Marking Role
We are looking for UK-qualified teachers or current/former examiners for a UK examination board to mark A-level practice papers and assessments.
Applicants should:
- Be a UK-qualified teacher and/or have experience as an examiner for a UK examination board
- Have experience teaching or examining their subject at A-level
- Have excellent subject knowledge
- Have a strong understanding of A-level assessment objectives and exam-board mark schemes
- Be able to apply mark schemes accurately and consistently
- Provide clear, constructive written feedback to help students improve
- Be able to meet agreed marking deadlines
Previous or current examining experience with UK examination boards such as AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR or Cambridge International would be highly desirable.

Requirements
Depending on the role, applicants should have relevant teaching, tutoring, examining or subject experience.
Tutors working directly with children may be required to have an Enhanced DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Hours: Flexible / Part-time
Pay: £15.00-£40.00 per hour
