Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of hospitality
- Supervise and motivate team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive work environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality, safety, and presentation meet company standards
- Support food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant and kitchen
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders and efficient workflow
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries or concerns, resolving issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Assist in training new team members on service procedures, food safety regulations, and operational standards
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong team management skills
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Ability to lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and culinary techniques including barista experience is a plus
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between front-of-house and kitchen teams seamlessly
- Knowledge of hotel or barista experience enhances versatility in managing diverse service environments
