Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients and components for daily menu items, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
Support the kitchen team in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment to promote a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Participate in meal preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, garnishing, and plating under supervision.
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene and quality standards are upheld at all times.
Assist with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and proper storage of ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations.
Serve food to guests or team members as directed, ensuring timely and courteous service.
Experience
No prior professional kitchen experience is required; however, familiarity with food preparation or cooking is advantageous.
A strong interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills is essential.
Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus but not mandatory.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for serving others and working as part of a team.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
