Job description:
This vacancy is for a double-glazing window/door installer & servicing engineer for DG servicing.
We are a family-run double glazing repair and installation company founded in 1983. Undertaking specialist repairs, maintenance & replacement work of uPVC, aluminium, timber windows and doors.
We cover 36 postcode areas in the southeast of the country.
Skill requirements:
· Previously worked in the industry, working on both installations and repairs/maintenance.
· Have a relative knowledge of component parts.
· Be able to work as part of a team/pair as well as independently when necessary.
· To be polite and helpful when dealing with customers and other staff members.
· Be able to carry out surveys confidently.
· Have your own tools.
· To be able to use an iPad/tablet to access our job management software.
Rates of pay are dependent on experience (to be discussed at the point of interview).
Job type:
· Full-time
Schedule:
· Monday - Friday (Occasional Saturdays when available).
Required experience:
· Double glazing repairs and maintenance work 1-2 years (minimum).
· UVPC Window and door installations: 1-2 years (minimum).
· Held a manual driving license for a minimum of 1 year.
· Worked with tilt and turn gearing and Teleflex winding gear (if possible).
License/Certification
· CSCS Card (preferred)
· Full manual driving license (required)

Pay: £130.00-£160.00 per day
