Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team.
Monday to Friday (4hrs per day) 4pm to 8pm
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals with a passion for hygiene and organisation, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, using appropriate cleaning tools and products.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Handle waste disposal responsibly and efficiently.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning agents as needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Reliable with good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
