We are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing and inspection of sub-assemblies, working closely with the Cell Leader and Logistics Manager to support production targets.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on individual with a practical mindset, good attention to detail and an interest in manufacturing. Previous assembly experience is advantageous, but candidates with a good understanding of workshop tools and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 3:00PM

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and manufacture sub-assemblies in line with production requirements.
- Carry out assembly work accurately and efficiently according to production schedules.
- Test and inspect completed sub-assemblies to ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Follow technical drawings, work instructions, procedures and production specifications.
- Use a range of conventional hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the assembly process.
- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process when required.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation.
- Ensure tools, equipment and PPE are kept in a safe and usable condition.
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies, procedures and working practices.
Requirements
- Good standard of general education.
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production or a workshop environment would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of conventional workshop hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings would be advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new skills and support different areas of production.
