The role
Sports Massage Therapy is a core part of what we offer at Bodylogics, and our therapists are central to the results our patients get and the reputation we have built. This is a hands-on role delivering exceptional treatment day in, day out, and doing it to a standard that keeps patients coming back and recommending us to others.
Like all of our team at Bodylogics, our Sports Massage Therapists are expected to provide unprecedented care and treatment that goes above and beyond that of any other clinic, where patients want to return to us and not just feel that they have to. We want you to help people and ensure everyone has access to the highest possible service and treatment to help them achieve whatever their goals are.
Communication and developing caring relationships is key to this role, not only internally but in ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered to patients in a way that shows their wellbeing is your main priority, so they can confidently make the right decision about the plan of care you are recommending. The result is that patients achieve their clinical and lifestyle outcomes within a time frame that you have set.
Responsibilities include:

- Monitor the progress of patients and adjust or change treatment as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and care so patients remain excited to return to the clinic and stay committed to the treatment plans you recommend
- Ensure general patient management is efficient and productive, including clinical notes updated in a timely and accurate manner, and clear expectations set for aftercare and advice
- Make good use of company systems and integrations for the progress and wellbeing of patients
- Provide clear, organised aftercare and self-management advice to support patients between sessions
- Liaise with other members of the clinical team, such as physiotherapists, and flag patients who may benefit from onward assessment or referral to ensure consistent, joined up care
- Comply with all Bodylogics policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, ensuring we consistently deliver to the highest expectations we have set ourselves
- Continually develop as a Sports Massage Therapist and evidence continued professional development (CPD)
- Proactively help attract returning and new patients to the clinic, including supporting corporate workshops and events alongside the wider team
- Support the Administration & Operations team in a timely and productive manner with technical patient queries and service improvement developments
- Maintain the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards before, during and after each patient, as set out in the Bodylogics policies
- Proactively and effectively communicate with the team and managers, working in an organised manner
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings

- Membership of a recognised professional association (such as the Sports Massage Association) and full insurances
- Sound working knowledge of anatomy, physiology and a range of soft tissue techniques
- Experience of treating a broad range of patients, from general public to active and sporting individuals
- Additional qualifications, such as dry needling, kinesiology taping or advanced soft tissue techniques, are beneficial
