This vital role ensures that Whitefields Golf Club, Driving Range and new Padel Courts are spotless, welcoming, and ready to receive our customers. As an early riser, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness through efficient cleaning practices, creating a safe and hygienic environment for staff and visitors alike. Your proactive approach will help set the tone for a positive and professional workspace every morning.

Cleaning of the following areas:
- · Whitefields Golf Club - Shop, Foyer and Bar Area
- · Toptracer Driving Range
- · Whitefields Golf Club Changing Rooms and toilets
- · Golf Office
- · Padel Courts
- · Padel Courts Patio Area
- · Whitefields Golf Club - Half-Way House

Working days/hours: 6.00 am to 9.00 am - Mon. to Sun. 5 days from 7
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Across ALL areas:
1. Vacuum and/or sweep all floor areas
2. Mop all hard floor surfaces with the relevant cleaning chemicals, hot water, mop & bucket
3. Wash-down, wipe and/or polish all surface areas – tables, shelves, cupboards and horizontal surfaces
4. Clean all external areas paved and patio areas and pathways either sweeping or mopping as necessary
5. Remove and clear all rubbish in all areas
6. Empty all waste bins and recycling stations in all areas replacing the bins with the stipulated bin bag and disposing of the waste collected properly in the correct general waste or recycling bins in the back yard
7. Wipe and polish all glass, mirrors and windows in all areas that are accessible/reachable
8. Report any maintenance issues, damage, safety hazards, or broken items or equipment to Golf Shop Manager immediately
9. Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals and materials, notify the Golf Shop Manager when supplies need reordering or replacing.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial role with strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, or floor scrubbers safely
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality as core qualities
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work collaboratively with team members
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment

The rate of pay is £12.75 per hour for a minimum 15 hours per week - 3 hours per day, 5 days from 7. Usual hours are 6.00/30 to 9.00/30 each morning
