More about your role
As a Contract Lead you will be responsible and accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of the group's Ad hoc Capital component replacements Repairs/Maintenance works via our supporting contractor framework. As with our internal teams, responsibility will lie around ensuring the service is customer focussed, efficient and offering value for money for the Group. That delivery adheres to KPIs and financial targets set.
You will hold responsibility for the day-to-day organisation, supervision and responsibility for contractor delivery within a defined region or workstream. This will include H&S, CDM 2015, technical standard and quality of the works and associated activities carried out in these areas. The operational delivery of Group policies and procedures to ensure compliance, including the identification, management and mitigation of risk & safe working practice and procedures.
Essential Skills and Experience
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualified (or willing to work towards), with an understanding of planning, building control, and relevant legislation
- Commercially aware, with a good grasp of value for money principles
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage effectively at all levels

The Contract Lead will be responsible for making sure contracts are running as they should, keeping a close eye on performance and reporting against agreed targets. You'll support the creation of contract documents, help manage maintenance and repair programmes, and keep track of budgets and costs. Part of the role involves checking work on-site to make sure it meets quality and compliance standards, keeping accurate records, and offering technical advice on refurbishment and maintenance. You'll also get involved in Asset Management meetings, sharing ideas to help improve how things are done.
