Role Summary
Work will be mainly, but not limited to, internal refurbishment projects within both domestic and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Carry out patching, repairs, and finishing of damaged surfaces prior to decoration
- Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces - Perform masking and full site protection before starting any work
- Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment efficiently and to a high standard
- Select and mix colours in line with specifications and client requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment throughout and after completion of works
- Conduct final quality checks to ensure all work meets high standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and on-site teams
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
What We’re Looking For
- Highly experienced painter & decorator with proven experience in both domestic and/or commercial projects
- Excellent attention to detail and high-quality finishing skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Professional approach with a strong customer-focused attitude
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Valid CSCS Card
- Up-to-date and clean DBS check
