Responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their enquiries
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Receive and stock inventory
- Assist in visual merchandising and product displays
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Provide support to the shop manager as needed
- Providing information about products and services offered in the shop
- Managing sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restocking shelves and maintaining the organisation of the shop floor
- Assisting with inventory checks and stock management
- Supporting in visual merchandising to ensure an attractive shop display
- Handling customer complaints or concerns professionally and courteously
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the shop area throughout the day
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a Pet retail or customer service role is essential
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to sell products and upsell to customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work flexibly during shop hours, including weekends if required
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
