Langosteria Group, in strong expansion, was founded in 2007 when CEO Enrico Buonocore opened the first restaurant in Milan's Via Savona: Langosteria. Langosteria quickly became a benchmark in Milan's dining scene, distinguished by its relentless pursuit of the highest quality ingredients.
The Group currently operates 7 exclusive restaurants across Milan, Santa Margherita Ligure, Paris (Langosteria at Cheval Blanc) and St. Moritz, with the prestigious addition of Langosteria at the historic Raffles Hotel London at The OWO in the heart of Whitehall, London.
About the Job
At Langosteria, pastry is an essential expression of our culinary identity. We are looking for a Pastry CDP who brings passion, precision, and a strong desire to learn, supporting the pastry team in delivering refined desserts while maintaining the standards that define our cuisine.
This role is ideal for a professional eager to grow in a dynamic fine dining environment, with a strong interest in pastry techniques, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Supporting the Pastry Sous Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards.
- Preparing, finishing, and presenting desserts and pastry items with attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
- Managing mise en place activities and supervising the preparation of ingredients and recipes to ensure efficiency during service.
- Monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper storage of ingredients, and supporting stock rotation procedures in line with company guidelines.
- Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and full compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations within the pastry section.
- Collaborating closely with the kitchen brigade to guarantee smooth communication and timely service execution.
- Supporting the training and development of junior pastry team members when required
About You
- Minimum one year of experience in a pastry kitchen or similar role
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and strong willingness to learn and improve
- Strong team spirit and good communication skills
- High attention to detail, precision, and respect for standards and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced fine dining environment
