We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber to join our small vibrant team, in a village setting. Brand new refitted shop. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your barbering expertise in a welcoming environment, helping clients look and feel their best. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional grooming services, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Duties
- Providing a range of barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, all types of fades and beard grooming tailored to individual client preferences
- Consulting with clients to understand their desired style and offering professional advice when needed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Building strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth
- Staying updated with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
- Ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilised and maintained in excellent condition
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barber with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in styles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong hair styling skills, including traditional cuts, modern styles, all types of fades, and beard grooming.
- Good communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to personal grooming services
- Valid barbering certification or licence as required by local regulations
