Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to individuals in thier home settings. This vital role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans
- Support individuals with mobility needs, including helping them move safely around within their homes
- Promote independence by encouraging participation in daily activities and social interactions
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans regularly to reflect changing needs
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
- Drive or accompany clients on errands or appointments when required, ensuring safe transportation
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a home care environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving license and own transport is essential
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills to update electronic care records and documentation accurately
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and procedures diligently
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, 3 evenings per week and every other weekend

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
