About the Role
Kelly’s Beauty Lounge & Spa is a brand-new, unique beauty, spa and wellness destination in Littlehampton, offering clients more than just traditional beauty treatments.
We are looking for a friendly, professional and reliable self-employed Beauty Therapist / Nail Technician to join our exciting new salon.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about beauty, enjoys providing an excellent client experience and wants to grow within a beautiful, professional and relaxing environment.
We would particularly welcome applications from either:
- An experienced Beauty Therapist / Nail Technician with an existing client base who is looking for a new salon environment and somewhere to grow their business; or
- Someone who is qualified in nails and currently studying beauty therapy at college, looking to gain experience and develop their skills in additional treatments alongside their nail work.
Treatments
The successful applicant should ideally be confident in nail treatments, including:
- Manicures
- Gel polish
- Pedicures
- Nail treatments
- Basic nail art
Additional beauty qualifications and experience in treatments such as waxing, facials and massage would be an advantage.
For applicants still studying at college, we are happy to consider someone who is already qualified in nails and working towards additional beauty therapy qualifications.
Reception & Salon Duties
As part of the role, you will also assist with general reception and salon duties, including:
- Welcoming clients into the salon
- Answering the telephone and client enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Taking payments
- Managing cancellations and appointment changes
- Responding to client messages where required
- Keeping the reception and waiting areas clean and welcoming
- Preparing treatment rooms between clients
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Assisting with opening and closing duties when required
- Helping with the general smooth running of the salon
- Promoting treatments and retail products where appropriate

- Qualified and insured for the treatments they provide
- Confident working independently
- Comfortable speaking with clients and carrying out reception duties
- Organised and reliable
- Committed to maintaining excellent hygiene standards
- Keen to develop their skills and grow within the salon
An existing client base would be a strong advantage but is not essential.
We are also happy to consider college students who are already qualified in nails and currently studying towards further beauty therapy qualifications, providing they are able to work within their current qualifications and insurance.

Hours
Part-time – flexible hours to be discussed.
Evening and/or weekend availability would be an advantage.
