TES Electrical & Mechanical Ltd are expanding and looking for an experienced domestic/commercial electrician to join our growing team working across Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Central Belt.
We’re looking for a reliable, skilled electrician who take pride in their work and can operate independently or as part of a team on commercial/domestic projects
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and domestic settings
- Testing and commissioning (where applicable)
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Conduct inspections to identify electrical faults or hazards
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime
- Document work performed accurately for record-keeping purposes
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring systems and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and clients professionally
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- Valid CSCS/ECS card
- Full UK driving licence
- IPAF (advantageous, not essential)
