Dental Receptionist - Front of House

Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Dental Receptionist to serve as the face of our clinic. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient journey from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all patients, representing the clinic in a professional and welcoming manner
- Open and close the clinic according to established procedures
- Greet patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Take, process and record payments accurately.
- Encourage and assist patients in booking their next appointments before leaving the clinic
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area at all times
- Work closely with treatment coordinators and the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient journey
- Ensure all necessary consent forms are completed and signed prior to patients entering treatment rooms
- Build rapport with patients and provide reassurance and support to anxious or nervous patients
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- Manage appointment scheduling and diary coordination
- Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
- Adhere to confidentiality policies and data protection regulations

- Experience using SOE is desirable
