We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Offer personalised support and guidance to children, fostering their social, emotional, and educational development
- Assist with daily activities, including organising educational and recreational programmes
- Mentor children through various tasks, encouraging independence and confidence
- Support behavioural management strategies in line with organisational policies
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the wellbeing of each child
- Implement tailored teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of progress and activities undertaken with each child
- Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a mentoring or educational capacity is highly desirable
- Proven ability to teach or facilitate learning activities effectively
- Experience in supporting children with diverse needs is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships
- Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting young people’s development

Pay: £14.21-£20.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
